Distribution Week 2!

A lot going on this week. We were given our final task list for each group.

My group mate, Aliya had arranged for a meeting with a group of sponsors. This included representatives from Development of Human Resources for Rural Areas(DHRRA), MEM Watches & CIMB Islamic.

Aliya, Kenneth & I headed down to Nu Sentral mall to meet with them. We explained our cause, idea and showed them our proposal. We are really hoping for some good news from them.

Besides this, we also had distribution of food for this week.

Menu 3 : Bolognese Pasta
Menu 4 : Aglio Olio

Observation Detailing #1 : Wardrobe

This is a timber wardrobe that is in my room. It is a two - sliding door wardrobe which also has two drawers. The detail drawing consists of a 3D view, a front elevation and also a blow-up detailing of how the sliding doors work. I know, it is pretty interesting ;)

Over the years, SFOKL expanded greatly in terms of funding as well as volunteers. Now they have about 100-200 volunteers EACH bimonthly feeding. The Kechara Soup Kitchen however, started in 2006. With the tagline "Hunger Knows No Barriers", Kechara always serves vegetarian food to respect all religions and not discriminate. We partnered with these two NGOs since they are more experienced in this. They give out food while we give out our Self-Care Kits. As for our distribution group, we decided to split into 2 groups to join each feeding. I was with the Street Feeders Group, 17th May 2017, 9pm, Taman Budaya.
